With its gated communities, obnoxious expat-kids, and expensive international schools, there is not much to do in Al Ain besides going to the malls and maybe smoking shisha. Yet, there is beauty in its mundaneness that somehow still leaves a mark. The girl with the view of Al Ain, probably was bored of Al Ain, yearning for a bigger city life but I just want to freeze in time and appreciate this city once more.
